Preliminary performance conducted at the Geumcheon-gu District Office Square by Daego Performance Band and the Royal Court Dancing Group, before King Jeongjo’s palace-leaving ceremony is held at the Siheung Haenggung Palace Site.
Welcoming performance for King Jeongjo entering Suwon A performance that represents a welcoming for King Jeongjo’s entrance into Suwon at the Old Pine Tree Forest Zone, where the King granted his privy purse and had five hundred pine trees planted.
An arched (Hyongye-style) stone bridge which was built in 1795 (19th year of the reign of King Jeongjo) in order to visit the Yongneung (Hyunryongwon) tomb of King Jeongjo’s father, Crown Prince Sado, and pay respects. King Jeongjo had Manan Bridge built with stones for the people to be able to cross the bridge conveniently for more than a million years. People perform the act of crossing the bridge in honor of the King’s love for the people and to welcome the King.
